Don’t be misled by the Par 68 of our golf course, it is very much a great course layout with all holes being playable without some of the unusual quirky features you may find on courses which make holes difficult to play.
We are overall predominately a flat course, we have enough slopes and inclines to provide interest across the course but we are not a ‘slog’ to walk round and don’t have any large tiring hills to climb.
Our course is situated in very established parkland with trees providing separation and definition on all holes. This provides a pleasant test of golf with a great deal of interest where you will be asked to think about course management and not just “grip it and rip it” unless you are accurate enough to do that of course.
Our greenkeeping team are all full time staff, whom receive a high level of training and development plus we have a modern fleet of greenkeeping machinery so you can be guaranteed to be playing a course that is in great condition all year round.
The course stays dry enough to open at all expected times, golf is after all a 12 months of the year game these days. We do close and when we believe it would be to the detriment of the course not to, but at all other times you will be able to get a game throughout the year.
